Something healthy and some not so

Saute of mushrooms with salt and pepper, simple sub with cucumbers and lettuce and an indulgent side of plain salted potato chips. Something healthy and some not very much but on the whole it does balance out. A sumptuous snack that comes together in 5 minutes to beat the hunger pangs after a long day at work, at school or any where.

Sauteed Mushrooms:

Slice about 10 button mushrooms thinly.
In a pan drizzle few drops of oil, add the sliced mushrooms.
Cook on medium high covered for about 3-4 minutes.
Open the lid and cook on high heat for about a minute.
Season with salt and pepper.

The sub:

Toast the bread until it is warm.
Spread a tea spoon of mayonnaise. Omit the mayo or use any other vegan spread
Stack a few leaves of lettuce and cucumber slices.
Sprinkle few pinches of salt and pepper.

For the chips:
Open the pack.

Arrange everything on the plate and see it vanish without any complaints.
